Hi, I’m Lissa Linden. I’m so glad you found me.

I primarily coach *women in the areas of: Health and wellness, relationship to food/eating disorders, navigating change, communication and relationships, anxiety/stress, and mindfulness. Coaching is applicable to any area of life, however, and is a valuable tool for accelerated change. I believe in coaching, and that is why I, too, have a coach (see FAQs & Facts tab). Based in Los Angeles, but accessible from anywhere in the world with a good Wi-Fi connection, I am actively involved in yoga, Vipassana meditation and mindfulness, surfing, scuba diving, photography, and herbology. I deeply value green living, support of the planet and all its inhabitants, volunteering, compassion, and the quest for self-knowledge.

A bit about coaching…

A common misconception about coaching is that a coach is a lot like the coaches we see at sporting events i.e. giving direction, giving advice, orchestrating plays and workouts. But, for our purposes, “coaching” is entirely different.

This kind of coaching is a synergistic relationship, and with the right partnership, the sky is the limit. I will listen to you truly—to what you are saying and also to what you are not saying. I will ask you the kinds of questions that are designed to lead you to deep self discovery, internal motivation, and your unique, self-inspired, authentic path. You are the expert in you. I am in your corner. I can help you resolve the internal discord you may be experiencing in life, help you more closely align with your true values, and support you in navigating the way forward and through the challenges.

Qualifications/Training/Education

I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Board Certified Coach (BCC), Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and Positive Intelligence (PQ) Mental Fitness Foundational Coach, applying evidence-based practices including Motivational Interviewing and cognitive behavioral interventions. I hold Whole Person Coach and Trauma-Informed certifications. I have been coaching in wellness, relationships, life transition, and health behavior change for over 10 years and am experienced in facilitated dialogue with executive and management teams. I hold a BFA in drama from New York University.
